www.frinkschool.org | info@frinkschool.org Courses and/or Programs Sample * : Art History, Sculpture Introduction: The Frink school, named after Elisabeth Frink - 1930-1993, is a small art community which has for its aim and purpose to provide an education in observational and technical disciplines of figurative sculpture and to support and encourage the creative potential that is revealed in its process. The Frink provides a core curriculum of classes in life drawing, life and portrait modeling, instruction in carving in various materials, claywork, plasterwork, metalwork, mould making and casting, with lectures on various aspects of sculpture including History of Art. Visiting staff are invited to teach on the course. Group visits are organised to exhibitions as an integral part of the course programme. There are generous provision of models, ensuring that working from the life figure is available on a regular daily or weekly basis according to need.
